Jennifer Williamson, ND

Dr. Jennifer Williamson, ND, RH(AHG) She/Her, is fat, neurodiverse and disabled. In 2009, she graduated from the Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences). After Naturopathic Medical School, she worked in Buffalo, New York for a few years both seeing clients and teaching as adjunct faculty at Daemen University's Complementary and Alternative Therapies program. In 2012, she moved to Vermont to join Avalon Natural Medicine, which she purchased and has been running since 2017. Along the way, Dr. Jen found Fascial Counterstrain first through treatment from other practitioners who were able to resolve or drastically improve ailments that were decades-long. Finally, after having a treatment on her brain by the founder of Fascial Counterstrain, Brian Tuckey, she realized that she needed to bring this brilliant technique to her quiet little corner of Vermont by learning it herself. In 2024, Dr. Jen started her training and is very motivated to finish the entire course load over the next few years.
