Gabriel Skinner, LMT

Gabriel's background since 2003 is in neuromuscular therapies and sports medicine working with a network of physicians, physiatrists, physical therapists, and chiropractors as part of a patient-centric team in the DC area. He encountered Fascial Counterstrain in 2019 and immediately started the coursework after witnessing its power to not only address the root causes of pain and dysfunction, but also to change lives; a close friend resolved post-concussion symptoms and his wife had significant migraine relief. In 2023 he took a therapist position at Horizons Therapy in Waynesboro, VA under the mentorship of Christine Wood, DPT, instructor and one of the most skilled and experienced Fascial Counterstrain therapists in the country. After several years of training and working with patients using Counterstrain as the primary modality, Gabriel brings his broad experience, this transformative technique, and a deeply caring spirit to the community of West Chester.
