Lauren Wenger, PT, DPT recently returned to working in the Shenandoah Valley in September 2021. Prior to relocating to the area, she was serving in an outpatient clinical setting in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Lauren is well versed in treating spinal mechanics, podiatry patients, and those with chronic pain. In 2015, she participated in a clinical mentorship program in the Integrated Systems Model (IMS) out of Vancouver, Canada. In addition, she has worked to diversify her manual therapy training. In 2015, she became Level II Dry Needling Certified through Kinetacore. She has pursed training in Fascial Counterstrain/Jones Strain-counterstain, Graston Technique, Myofascial Release, Joint mobilization, and Muscle Energy Technique.
Lauren completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at William and Mary in 2005 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys reading, swimming, biking, and visiting local and state parks.
