With more than 18 years of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant prior to beginning her practice as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Heidi brings a unique combination of clinical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of the challenges associated with trauma, idiopathic conditions, and both acute and chronic pain.
Throughout her career, she has witnessed the frustration experienced by patients, family members, and loved ones who struggled with persistent pain and were unable to find lasting relief. Those experiences, along with her own personal healing journey, motivated her to keep searching for answers and to explore approaches that look beyond simply managing symptoms.
Her work with Fascial Counterstrain has become an important part of that journey. Fascial Counterstrain is a gentle, hands-on technique that utilizes applied anatomy to identify and address dysfunctional tissues and potential underlying contributors to pain and restriction. By looking at the body as an interconnected system, this approach seeks to address the root of many issues rather than focusing solely on where symptoms are felt.
Her passion is to help people who have been living with pain feel heard, understood, and hopeful. She is dedicated to continuing to learn, explore effective approaches, and provide compassionate, individualized care to those seeking relief and a better quality of life.
