I learned about Fascial Counterstrain after being unable to provide relief for a client with my existing outpatient ortho tools. This particular patient typically received FCS but their usual provider was unavailable. Perplexed, I took the introductory course and realized that FCS provided the "why" behind many health conditions, symptom presentations and treatment responses that I previously couldn't always fully explain. After spending over a decade constantly searching for the best methods for my patients, FCS has quickly become the most powerful, yet gentle tool in my toolbox. It allows me to assess and treat each person as a whole, with treatments specific and dependent on each individual's personal experiences in life. FCS has renewed my love of being a physical therapist and I am grateful to be part of this community.
